In this post we'll see how to register a concurrent program and assign that program to System Administrator responsibility.
As a DBA, it is our task to register concurrent program's requested by technical folks to work on an SR. Though it can be run from back-end, it is always better to register the concurrent program, since it is a one time solution and the technical people can run whenever they wants.
Now I'm going to register the concurrent program 'EBS Procurement Document Analyzer'.

Now I'm going to register the concurrent program 'EBS Procurement Document Analyzer'.
- Download the package from Oracle Meta-link document or the package sent by the technical folks.
2. Create the package definition and check the version.
3. Register the concurrent program.
4. Assign the concurrent program to a responsibility. Here I'm assigning to 'System Administrator' responsibility.
- Choose System Administration responsibility and navigate to Security > Responsibility > Define.
- Query System Administrator responsibility and note down the name of the Request Group
- Now navigate to Security > Responsibility > Request
- Now query for the Request Group name(In my case System Administrator Reports)
- Now add a entry for the program "Procurement Document Analyzer" and save it.
5. Run the request.
